Your Roadside Questions, Answered

Straight answers about jump starts, lockouts, fuel delivery, pricing and where we go. Still unsure? Call — a real person answers 24/7.

Who can jump start my car near me right now?

If you're in Spring, The Woodlands, Klein, Tomball, Magnolia, Conroe, Cypress, Humble, Aldine, Porter or North Houston, call LaCaze Roadside Assistance at (832) 949-4837. We're open 24/7 and a real person answers — John, the owner. We drive to you with the equipment to jump start your car wherever it died: driveway, parking lot or shoulder.

What do I do if I lock my keys in my car?

First, stay calm and don't break a window. If a child or pet is inside and it's hot, call 911 right away. Otherwise, call or text us your location. We come out and open your car with proper lockout tools, taking care with your door, paint and weather seals. More on our car lockout service.

How do I get gas if I ran out on the road?

Pull as far off the road as you safely can, turn your hazards on, and call or text (832) 949-4837. We bring fuel to you — enough to get you to the nearest station — for $60 plus the cost of fuel. Don't walk along a highway like I-45 or the Grand Parkway to find a gas can. See emergency fuel delivery.

Do I need a membership?

No. LaCaze Roadside Assistance is pay-per-use roadside assistance — no membership, no sign-up and no annual fee. You call when you need us and pay only for the service you get: $75 for a jump start, $65 for a lockout, or $60 plus fuel for fuel delivery. It's a simple alternative to waiting on an insurance or auto-club dispatch.

How much does a jump start cost?

A jump start is $75. Vehicle lockouts are $65, and fuel delivery is $60 plus the cost of fuel. No membership, and you'll hear your price on the phone before we roll — no surprises when we arrive. See our pricing page.

Do you come out at night?

Yes. We're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — late nights, weekends and holidays included. Many of our calls come after hours, when other companies stop answering.

Which areas do you serve?

We're based in Spring, TX 77389 and serve The Woodlands, Klein and Cypress, Tomball, Magnolia, Conroe, Humble, Aldine, Porter, North Houston and surrounding areas. Not sure if you're covered? Call — if we can reach you, we'll tell you straight.

How fast can you get to me?

It depends on where you are, traffic and the time of day. When you call, John gives you an honest arrival estimate before we head out, and if we're running late, we call you first. No vague "sometime in the next few hours".

What if I can’t tell you exactly where I am?

Text us at (832) 949-4837 and share your location from your phone's map app, or use the "Use my location" button on our request form. A nearby exit number, mile marker, business or cross street also helps.

Is roadside assistance from a local company better than calling my insurance?

Insurance and auto-club roadside programs usually send your request through a dispatcher to whichever contractor is available, which can mean a long wait. With an owner-operated local company, you talk directly to the person coming to help and get an arrival estimate and price up front. Many drivers keep both numbers in their phone.

What forms of payment do you take?

Ask when you call and we'll confirm how you can pay before we head out, so there are no surprises at the roadside.
